Together, we’ll

  • Gently monitor your wellbeing and your baby’s development
  • Explore your hopes and preferences for birth
  • Help you prepare for labour and early parenthood with confidence

My approach is both clinically thorough and genuinely compassionate, so you can feel informed, reassured and supported at every step of your journey.

Postnatal Care · In-home & Telehealth

Postnatal care for the fourth trimester

The early weeks after birth are tender, transformative and, at times, overwhelming. Through personalised postnatal care, I offer calm, steady support as you recover, adjust and grow in confidence as a new parent.

Together, we’ll

  • Support your physical recovery and emotional wellbeing
  • Monitor your baby’s health, feeding and development
  • Guide you through feeding, settling and newborn care
  • Offer reassurance through the normal challenges of the fourth trimester

My care is clinically thorough and genuinely compassionate, so you feel safe, heard and well supported during this precious time. Never rushed, never alone.

Antenatal Classes · At home or online

Private antenatal classes, at home or online

Prepare for birth and early parenting with confidence through a personalised, six-hour antenatal class (gently spread over three weeks), created for you and your support person. In the comfort of your own home, or online, we’ll combine evidence-based education, practical skills and space to explore what matters most to you.

Together we cover

  • Labour and birth
  • Coping and comfort strategies
  • Medical interventions and your options
  • Feeding: breast and formula
  • Early postnatal recovery

My hope is that you’ll feel informed, prepared and confident for the journey ahead.

Dads-Only Class · In person or telehealth

Dads-only antenatal class

Becoming a dad is a huge transition, and it’s completely normal to feel unsure about what to expect. This relaxed antenatal session is designed just for you, giving you the practical tools, clear guidance and the confidence to support your partner through labour, birth and the early weeks with your baby.

Together, we’ll

  • Walk through the stages of labour and how you can help
  • Learn what to say to help her feel calm, safe and supported
  • Build confidence with advocacy and decision-making
  • Practise hands-on practical skills

This isn’t your typical antenatal class. It’s about helping you feel prepared, capable and part of the experience.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a GP referral to see a private midwife?

No referral is needed to book. You’re welcome to reach out directly. For some services and Medicare rebates a referral or shared-care arrangement may apply, and I’ll guide you through it.

What is an Endorsed Midwife?

An Endorsed Midwife has completed additional NMBA-approved qualifications, allowing me to prescribe certain medications and provide Medicare-eligible midwifery care.

Are appointments bulk billed?

Bulk billing is currently available for eligible Medicare card holders in selected areas and for all telehealth appointments. Other areas are privately billed, with Medicare rebates for eligible card holders.

Do you offer care outside Brisbane?

Yes, telehealth appointments are available right across Australia, by phone or video.

When should I book antenatal care?

As early as you like. Antenatal intakes are limited to two per month, so booking ahead is best.
